Hallkeeper Lane - Improvements

Draft concept plan has now been developed for Hallkeeper Lane. We’re seeking your feedback on the proposed design and community use of this space.

Key features as shown on the plan include:

  • Long benches, offer flexible seating arrangement for outdoor dining during restaurant hours
  • Plantar boxes with integrated seating
  • Seating/play mounds
  • An interactive ground mural
Further information is available about this project on the project Your Say page.

In particular, Council is keen to find out:

  • How you currently use Hallkeeper Lane
  • How satisfied you are with the way the space is proposed to be used
  • How you intend to use the newly designed space
  • Your thoughts on the existing murals in the space and the overall look and feel of the design
The following features of the concept plan are out of scope for the current consultation:
  • Alteration to private assets/authority requirements around their assets.
  • The extent of the site.
  • The general function of the space (being an outdoor resting, gathering place, green relief, supporting active transport by providing an alternative pedestrian/cyclist friendly route in the Moonee Ponds Activity Centre).

The consultation is open until 28 June 2025.

Have your say by completing this survey today! It should take around 8 minutes to complete.
