Employers: Register for Inclusive Hub 2026

Inclusive Hub is a project designed to help employers connect with individuals with diverse abilities, talents, and disabilities who are seeking their first work experience in the open labor market shortly after completing their education. This initiative provides your company with access to an untapped talent pool while supporting inclusive hiring practices.

•    The project is managed and funded by Alma Career, with participation being free of charge for employers.
•    We collaborate with Michigan State University, providing anonymized data for research in vocational rehabilitation.
•    Registration closes on October 31, 2025.

If you register for Inclusive Hub as an employer, you will:
•    Participate in a six-month program (January-June 2026) focused on developing internship opportunities for people with disabilities.
•    Be connected with a local community partner who will become familiar with your HR processes, team, and the specific roles where internships will take place.
•    Receive support in identifying suitable candidates for your internships.
•    Invest approximately 64 hours of preparation time over the six-month period.
•    Have the flexibility to send multiple representatives to Inclusive Hub's online meetings.

Terms of Participation
  • You will determine the length (recommended 2 weeks to 3 months), start date, and financial compensation for internship participants.
  • Internships should be carried out with the support of a job coach, with involvement levels agreed upon between you and the coach. The job coach will be especially needed during the initial days.
  • Upon joining, you will sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Alma Career, provided to you in advance.
  • As an employer offering internships, you will complete the JOBS questionnaire (Brady & Rosenberg, 2000), which will be accessible during educational meetings.
  • The schedule of meetings for 2026 will be provided no later than November 2025.
  • By completing this application, you will be included in the selection process for employers offering internships through Inclusive Hub. We will schedule an individual online interview (via TEAMS) after receiving your application to answer your questions and address any additional inquiries we may have.
  • More detailed information about the 2026 program will be provided during this meeting.

By continuing to complete the application, you agree to the terms of participation on this page, which entail certain obligations on your part.
