FY2026 Network Partner Application

Vermont Foodbank New Network Partner Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Network Partner with the Vermont Foodbank. This application combines the pre-screener and full application into one streamlined form. Only those who meet all minimum eligibility requirements will be able to proceed to the full application. Please complete all sections that apply to your organization.

If you would benefit from Low Visibility Mode, you may access that feature in the top-right corner of your browser screen.

If your organization does not currently meet the minimum eligibility requirements but you would like to have further discussion, you will be guided to connect with someone at Vermont Foodbank’s Network Partner Team for an opportunity to connect further.

Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee approval of partnership. Vermont Foodbank operates within certain capacity and resource limitations.

Vermont Foodbank partners with local organizations to supplement charitable food programs, we are unable to fully supply the food or administrative needs of partner organizations. We provide access to donated and purchasable food, limited funding opportunities, training, and technical support, while partners remain responsible for running their day-to-day operations.

To consistently provide the best service possible to all our partners, other factors may be taken into consideration when approving agencies for partnership. Approval is ultimately at the discretion of the Vermont Foodbank.

Vermont Foodbank will prioritize organizations that:

  • Fill an unmet need within their community or service area

  • Offer unique distribution hours, such as evenings or weekends, when other services are less available

  • Collaborate with existing programs to enhance services and reduce duplication of efforts

  • Operate a client choice model, providing all neighbors with opportunities to make their own dietary and food preference choices

  • Are open to the public and not restricted by defined service area boundaries (Organizations serving clients with safety or privacy concerns- such as women’s shelters or daycare facilities- may be exempt from this consideration)

  • Strive to incorporate community feedback into their services, either through regular surveying, qualitative data or a neighbor-led model (such as a neighbor advisory group).
