Butler plant exchange 2025

Calling all green thumbs, budding gardeners, and plant lovers! The Staff Training and Enrichment Program and the Office of Sustainability are excited to host an upcoming plant exchange, where staff and faculty can share their love of plants and take home something new to grow.

What to Bring:
  • Healthy, pest-free plants (indoor or outdoor, perennial or annual—flowers, houseplants, fruits, veggies—you name it!)
  • Plants must be in containers or vessels suitable for being out all day (bare-root and cuttings are welcome in jars, cups, etc.)
  • Labels are a must! Be sure each plant is clearly identified
  • Care instructions, if possible—so your plant’s new caretaker knows how to help it thrive
Whether you're looking to rehome a few overgrown cuttings or discover your next favorite plant, we’d love to see you there. Let's grow Butler's gardening community, one leaf at a time!

Wednesday, June 11 - Gallahue first floor atrium
- Plant drop off between 11:30-noon
- Plant exchange event and social between 12:00-1:00 (light hospitality provided)
