Current State of Adult Congenital Heart Disease Interventions

Consent and Introduction

The adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) population is rapidly growing, increasing the need for diagnostic and interventional transcatheter procedures. Given the diverse nature of ACHD interventions coupled with lower overall disease prevalence compared to most forms acquired heart disease, there is heterogeneity in the background and setting of those who perform these procedures.

This survey-based research study assesses the current state of ACHD interventions, including operator training, practice settings, and workforce demographics. The findings will inform quality initiatives, policy, and advocacy efforts to support the growth of the ACHD subspecialty in response to rising patient needs.
The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

This survey is entirely voluntary and all questions are optional. You can stop your participation at any time and your decision will not result in a penalty or affect your rights. The survey does not collect any personal identifiers. The confidentiality of the data will be maintained as the results will be reported in aggregate only. There are neither any direct benefits nor any foreseeable risks to participating in the study.

By answering these survey questions, you are consenting to participate in this study.
