IBD Study Participation Eligibility Criteria

A Pilot Prospective Observational Study to Assess the Effects of Cannabidiol (CBD) and Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) on Inflammatory Bowel Disease Symptoms

Thank you for your interest in this study led by the New York State Office of Cannabis Management. This study is designed to evaluate the therapeutic effects of Cannabidiol (CBD) and Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in alleviating the symptoms of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). As a participant in this study you will be asked to provide information about your medical history, complete monthly questionnaires, and record your CBD/THC use in a daily dosing diary. These activities will provide invaluable feedback on the therapeutic use of THC/CBD and critical insights into their impact on IBD symptoms, quality of life, and general health.

Note: If you choose to enroll in this study, you must be able to access medical cannabis from a participating NYS medical cannabis dispensary.
