The 2025 program will take place September 21 – October 25, 2025.
Before You Begin
Please take a moment to review the Emerging Leader (EL) profiles for Chicago and/or San Francisco on the TechWomen website. You will be asked to identify specific ELs you are interested in mentoring as part of your application.
We encourage you to:
-
Use the filter and search functions to explore by city, industry or area of professional interest.
-
Look beyond the ELs whose names start with “A”!
To better understand our process and expectations, we also recommend reviewing the Professional Mentor section of the TechWomen website.
Application Evaluation
Your input is a vital part of the matching process. The TechWomen team will carefully review your application to understand how your background, interests and mentorship style align with the Emerging Leaders (ELs) you’re most excited to support.
While your selections and justifications are an important part of your application, please know that final matches will be determined based on a variety of factors—including EL goals, availability of mentors, professional alignment and the overall dynamics of the cohort.
Think of it as a big puzzle: your thoughtful responses help us make the best possible recommendation for a meaningful, well-balanced mentorship experience—for both you and the Emerging Leaders.
Instructions & Tips
A strong application takes up to one hour to complete and can be completed in multiple sittings.
-
We suggest opening the EL profiles (Chicago and San Francisco) in a separate browser tab as you work.
-
To save your progress, use the “Save and continue application later” link (at the top or bottom of each page, depending on your browser).
-
To revisit or revise answers, use the “Back” button at the bottom of each page. Avoid using your browser’s back button to prevent loss of progress.
New This Year
-
If you’ve found an EL on the TechWomen website who is not currently linked in this application, she is likely a newly promoted alternate and you may indicate interest in being matched with her. Use the field under “Profile Links” to enter her full name and include a brief explanation of why you’d like to work with her.
