ESS Scholarship Application - Hillsboro School District

ESS is excited to award four $2,000 scholarships to a graduating Hillsboro School District senior who plans to major in elementary or secondary education at a college or university.

Application Deadline: Friday, June 6th, 2025.

Details & Eligibility:

The student must be a 2025 graduating senior at one of the high schools within the Hillsboro School District.
The student must demonstrate a commitment to a future career in education.
To be considered, the student must fill out the following form, upload their high school transcript, and submit a 1-2 page essay discussing their interest in education and what experiences have inspired them to pursue a career as an educator.
This is not an academic scholarship, but the committee may reference GPA and class rank when determining the winners.
Immediate family members of full-time ESS corporate employees are not eligible for consideration.
The winner will be notified by Friday, June 27, 2025.
The scholarship check will be issued once ESS has received the student's college transcript after completing one semester. To obtain the award, the student must complete 12+ credit hours with a GPA above 2.0 before May 1, 2026.
