18. Your commitment to supporting NYC’s students and schools is inspiring, and we’re here to make your transition from student teaching to a professional teaching career as seamless as possible. NYCPS Student Teachers enrolling in this program commit to:

Attending workshops.
- Participants select from a suite of webinars on NYCPS instructional priorities, job search insights, and career readiness workshops.
Completing job search and feedback surveys.
- Participants will be asked to complete periodic brief surveys, as well as a satisfaction survey at the conclusion of their student teaching experience.
Submitting the NYCPS Online Teacher Application when it launches so you have access to Early Commitment opportunities and supports.
- Eligible participants who commit to an Early Commitment school by June 16, can qualify for a stipend.
Attending networking events, school tours, and orientations that they register for, and if no longer able to attend, informing those who invited them with 24 hours’ notice.
- Put your best foot forward in your job search with NYCPS.
