IFLA Regional Advocacy Priorities Survey 2025

Welcome

IFLA's Regional Council and Regional Division Committees are working to support effective advocacy for libraries around the world. Doing this most effectively relies on having a strong sense of what is needed and what makes a difference.

Following our first regional advocacy priorities survey in 2021, and the second edition in 2023, we are now launching the 2025 edition, in order to give the incoming 2025-2027 mandate of the Committees insights to plan their own work. To do this, we need to hear from you.

Where does library advocacy in your country focus, and how active is it?

Let us know by filling in this survey. As a thank you, we will give away some goodies. To win exciting rewards, you can enter into the raffle at the end of this survey.

You are not obliged to share any personal data, and any data shared will be processed in line with IFLA's Data Protection Policy

Deadline: 9 June
How to fill in this survey

We welcome responses by both association/institution and individuals.

If answering on behalf of an association/institution, we ask just one person to do this. Therefore, please make sure that the response you are submitting is given after a considerate coordination within your association/institution.

You may select the survey language you prefer through the language bar in the right up corner.

You may download a word version of this survey with all questions included by clicking here.

This survey should take you approximately 20 minutes.

This survey can be adjusted to be read in low vision mode, with increased contrast ratios, font sizes, and font weights so that it is accessible to people with reading disabilities.

If you'd like to save your progress and continue later, you could do that by clicking on the black bar that will appear on your screen after completing the first page of the survey. The black bar will indicate: "Save and continue later". You will need to supply an email address to save your progress. A unique link will then be emailed to you that will allow you to return where you left off.
