4. Lantern Launch & Water Safety Assistant 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Monitor guests, especially children, for safety near the water. Oversee water conditions and prevent overcrowding at launch sites. Report any safety hazards or unsafe behavior to event coordinators. This position will be stationed on the shoreline at the main swimming beach.

5. Stray Lantern retrieval 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Monitor the Park's beachline by boat and collect any lanterns that were launched outside of the designated area. Return them inside the boey containment line or drop them off at the boathouse. This position will be stationed by boat.

6. End of event lantern & water cleanup 9:30 PM - 11:00 PM (or earlier)

Retrieve and properly dispose of lanterns from the water and the surrounding area by boat. Help push lanterns from the boey line back to the beach, where they can be pulled out of the water by staff & other volunteers. Work with event staff to ensure all floating lanterns are responsibly gathered post-event.
