Thank you for your interest in the latest webinar from the Financial Education Public-Private Partnership (FEPPP):

Living Together: Financial, Social & Emotional Skills for Shared Housing
Date: May 1, 2025
Time: 4:00-5:30 pm
Location: Zoom (a link will be sent to you after registration)

Sharing a living space is often a financial necessity, but it comes with unique challenges. This session will help educators equip students with financial and social-emotional skills to navigate shared housing successfully. Participants will explore different living arrangements, identify risks when choosing roommates or housing, practice financial communication through roommate agreements, and discuss the importance of emergency funds and banking as safeguards against housing instability. Educators will leave with ready-to-use classroom resources, including lessons on co-signing and roommate contracts, to help students make informed decisions about shared living.
