With Tax Day approaching, there’s no better time to explore how taxes impact our daily lives. In this session, guest presenter Bobby de Grouchy, middle school CTE teacher and FEPPP Fellow teacher-trainer, will break down Washington state’s unique tax structure and share how he integrates tax education into his middle school classroom. Participants will gain engaging, no- or low-prep activities to help students understand where tax revenue goes, how tax policies shape communities, and the connection between financial education and civic responsibility.
