2025 Carson City Hazard Mitigation Survey

To Whom It May Concern:

Carson City is conducting a study to better understand the preparedness needs and risk perceptions of its residents as part of the City's Hazard Mitigation Plan update process. To do so, a survey has been distributed throughout the City, and you have been selected to participate. Your feedback is greatly needed and appreciated!
 
The survey should only take about 10 minutes to complete. All responses will be kept confidential, and your participation is strictly voluntary. Your input will enable the County to better serve you.

DEFINITIONS

Hazard Mitigation:  The purpose of hazard mitigation planning is to identify policies and actions that can be implemented over the long term to reduce risk and future losses. Mitigation forms the foundation for a community's long-term strategy to reduce disaster losses and break the cycle of disaster damage, reconstruction, and repeated damage.
