Certificate for Leadership in Healthcare Management Education Registration

Thank you for registering to earn the AUPHA Certificate for Leadership in Healthcare Management Education. Once you submit this form, AUPHA will send you an invoice based on your AUPHA membership status and you will be registered for the requested courses.

Requirements to Earn Certificate for Leadership in Healthcare Management Education

To earn the Certificate for Leadership in Healthcare Management, participants must:
  1. Earn 15 credits through Leadership Academy coursework. Most of these credits are elective. There are two required courses:
    • Leadership for All: Fostering Opportunity, Belonging, and Success
    • One of the following (selected based on experience level):
      • Advanced 21st Century Leadership
      • Introduction to 21st Century Leadership
  2. Earn 1 credit through verified attendance in at least one session of one of the following groups:
    • Department Chairs (hosted by Michael Rozier, SJ, PhD, Saint Louis University) Please Note: only those currently serving as Department Chairs should attend this group
    • Program Directors (hosted by Chris Calkins, PhD, MPA, The Pennsylvania State University)
      • Undergraduate
      • Graduate
    • Practitioner Scholars Faculty Forum

All credits towards the certificate must be completed within a three-year period. Once an individual has earned the certificate, it remains valid for two years. Individuals may renew their certificate by completing 16 continuing education credits within that two year period.

7. Please indicate the group meeting you would like to attend to earn 1 credit towards your certificate. AUPHA staff will reach out to you to coordinate a date for your attendance upon receipt of this form.
