This application requires the submission of a CV and a personal and professional statement. You will also be expected to sign a statement which confirms you are able to fulfill the engagement expectations for serving the NLN CNEA. Eligibility for the NLN CNEA Ballot - Board of Commissioners
Nursing Education
Nursing education representatives are employed at an organization that has one or more NLN CNEA accredited or pre-accredited programs. Nurse educators who do not meet this criteria are not eligible for placement on the ballot in a nurse educator role.

Professional Consumer
Professional consumer representatives include retired nurse educators or those employed by nursing education programs not accredited by NLN CNEA.

Nursing Practice
Nursing practice representatives must either hold a part-time or full-time active practice position.

Public Member
Public member representatives include those who have an interest and expertise in higher education, nursing education, program evaluation and/or accreditation. Individuals who are not nurses but can represent the public OR nurses who are currently enrolled in further academic education can serve as a public representative. Individuals that are employed by a nursing program holding NLN CNEA accreditation are not eligible for this position.

Pre-licensure Representative
Pre-licensure representatives include those who have experience in pre-licensure nursing programs, including practical/vocational, diploma (RN), associate degree, and/or bachelor's degree in nursing programs. Representatives do not have to be employed by an organization that has one or more NLN CNEA accredited or pre-accredited programs.
One Position Open for 2025 Nominations
Post-licensure Representative
Post-licensure representatives include those who have experience in post-licensure nursing programs, including RN-BS, master's degree, graduate certificate, and/or practice doctoral programs. Representatives do not have to be employed by an organization that has one or more NLN CNEA accredited or pre-accredited programs.
