Call for Comments: Building Trust in the H5N1 Response

The National Academies Forum on Microbial Threats invites individuals who have been involved in response to the ongoing North American H5N1 outbreak to share their experiences and perspectives on building trust between agriculture producers and public health officials. Comments may be used to develop discussion questions and identify key topics of discussion for an upcoming webinar on building trust in the H5N1 response. We welcome input from interested parties including, but not limited to: state and local public health officials, livestock production specialists, livestock producers and workers, occupational health specialists, epidemiologists, and veterinarians. Please visit the project website for more information.

NOTE: Responses will be shared with the members of the webinar planning group. Comments will be reviewed for key themes and used to inform topics of discussion for the webinar. Responses will not be made available to the public. You will not be asked to identify yourself, and all fields in the survey are optional. We value all submissions and greatly appreciate the time taken to provide feedback and additional information for this activity.

NOTE FOR MOBILE USERS: To begin the survey, please find the arrow at the bottom right corner of the page and tap to continue. Each question will be on its own page. The survey is complete and your responses submit automatically when you click past the final question and receive a “thank you” message on the screen. There are 8 questions total.
