F25 Macmillan Research Study: Instructor Interest Survey

Fall 2025 Macmillan Research Study

We look forward to collaborating with you on this study which includes new resources only available to study participants (a belongingness tool, Assessment Coach, and Short Form Writing Tool) as well as optional professional development sessions on evidence-based teaching strategies and is focused on new users of Achieve.  

Please note that we require use of one of the specific Achieve texts listed below as your CORE curriculum in order to participate in the Fall 2025 study. (Your sales representative will work with you for student purchase.)

Economics, Eric Chiang, 6th ed. Principles of Economics, Betsy Stevenson and Justin Wolfers, 2nd ed. Survey of Economics, David Anderson, 1st ed. 
  • Psychology: Psychology in Everyday Life, Myers and Nathan DeWall, 6th ed. 
  • Pre-Calculus: Bruce Crauder, Preparations for Calculus, 5th ed. 
  • Calculus: Jon Rogawski Calculus: Early Transcendentals, 4th ed. 
  • Statistics: Cannon, Starnes and Tabor, Introductory Statistics: A Student-Centered Approach, 1st ed. 
Other requirements: 
  • Complete study data collection: 
    • Pre-survey, Bi-weekly Instructor Logs, Observation, Focus Groups, Post-Survey, and submit Final Course Performance Data for consenting students

We will be applying to obtain institutional approval for this study and will ask that you share the name and contact of the Institutional Review Board contact in order  for us to move forward with that process.
