Shop of the Year Award Nomination Form

This award aims to recognise the staff and volunteers involved in the exceptional performance of a shop. 

Criteria (quantitative)  

  • Exceptional sales/profitability increases in the last financial year (scored out of a maximum of 2 points)  

  • Increase in average spend per customer (scored out of a maximum of 2 points) 

  • Increase in footfall of the shop (scored out of a maximum of 2 points) 

  • Increase in recruitment and retention of volunteers (scored out of a maximum of 2 points) 

  • Increase in amount or quality of donations to the shop (scored out of a maximum of 2 points) 

  • Other quantifiable measure (scored out of a maximum of 2 points) 

Criteria (qualitative):  

  • Introduction of new activities, ideas or other fundraising carried out by the shop (scored out of a maximum of 4 points) 

  • Mentoring and support given to staff and teams from other shops (scored out of a maximum of 4 points) 

  • Other initiatives or partnerships with external groups, for example: local authorities, community groups, and local supporters (scored out of a maximum of 4 points) 
     

Please note: For your submission to be considered, all financial figures must be verified by your charity’s Finance Director or most senior finance manager.

We will contact the named individual to confirm the accuracy of the financial information provided. You must supply current contact details for a director or senior finance manager who can verify your entry. Submissions that cannot be verified will not be put forward for judging.
