Imagine Downtown is a 5-year action plan for Downtown Duluth. The plan intends to bring energy and life to Downtown through public space improvements, mixed-use development, and exciting, home-grown activations to bring Duluthians Downtown for fun, work, and community building.
The plan draft recommendations include: pathways to economic innovation; measures to stimulate investment in infrastructure and services; supporting housing development; strategies for a welcoming public realm that is safe, engaging, and inclusive; and improving one’s quality of life. While there is an undeniable urgency to achieve these goals, the process takes the time needed to hear the voices of the community, explore new ideas, and advance a plan that reflects the values of Duluthians.
