Regional SAC Representative Registration

After students have been identified to represent your school on a Regional Student Advisory Council (RSAC), please submit their information electronically using this survey. DESE asks for this information to ensure that the contact details for your school and student representatives are accurate and to track consent forms.

6. Below are the general expectations and time commitments for school advisors. Please check each to indicate that you have read and are able to meet these expectations. *This question is required.

Support student representatives to actively engage in council meetings (e.g. this may include but is not limited to meeting attendance logistics, parent engagement & communication, communicating with school around meeting attendance etc.)
Attend Regional council meetings (monthly/bi-monthly; 1-2hrs). Attending regional council meetings is highly encourage but not required. Ideally, we would like all advisors to attend at least one regional council meeting. Attending regional council meetings is an opportunity to:
* network, engage and build community with other school advisors in your district's region
* gather resources and strategies to best support your school's representative in their roles
Liaison with DESE regional council advisors to mitigate and resolve student representatives' concerns or issues (e.g. attendance at meetings, new representation)

Please copy and save this url: SSAC Consent Forms: 2025-2026 to submit the consent form when returned. While students will be able to participate in the Orientation and Elections meetings, they will not be able to participate in regional meetings until their permission form has been submitted.

11. The council's current operating framework is such that students will begin with analyzing various student level data to identify strengths and concerns. This will allow the council to pinpoint priority areas that the council will focus on for the year. Are there any issues or area of concerns that your student representatives would like to suggest as focus/priority areas for the council? Please use the text boxes below to let us know. We will use this information to understand the concerns and passions at the forefront for all student council members and inform the data presented for students to select the focus of the council for the year.
