TCTAC SCALE Up Application Intake Form

Introduction

SCALE Up is a free cohort-based program for small to medium local governments, US-based cities and counties, (population <250,00). Our learning sessions are on  capacity building to advance environmental projects and emergency preparedness through training on project funding and financing mechanisms; supporting workforce development; developing enabling policy; and identifying actionable strategies and partnerships to scale local impact. This is a three part program that starts the first week of May 2025 and ends in February 2026. If you are interested in participating in this cohort, please fill out this intake form below by Wednesday, April 16th 11:59pm PST!

The expectation is that program participants register for at least 2 of the 3 program parts. Each part consists of a required monthly session and an optional monthly office hours.
  • Part 1: Understanding Local Priorities and the Funding Menu for Local Governments (May 2025 -July 2025)
  • Part 2: Developing a Project Implementation and Funding Roadmap (September 2025 -November 2025)
  • Part 3: Creating an Enabling Landscape for Project Implementation (December 2025 -February 2026)
This cohort will be co-led by the Urban Sustainability Directors Network (USDN) and the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), with invited speakers and experts. It is funded by the Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Center.
