About the Intuit Innovation Award
The inaugural Intuit Innovation Award seeks to honor a small business that has demonstrated an
exceptional commitment to fostering innovation in their company and industry. Presented by Intuit in collaboration with ICIC, the award recognizes a small business that has implemented innovative strategies and solutions to drive impactful and sustainable change. The award honors dedication to pushing boundaries, adapting to challenges, and achieving impactful results that set a standard of excellence in small business innovation. The award is aligned with Intuit's mission to help small businesses succeed and prosper by empowering them with the tools and resources they need to grow.
The winner of the Intuit Innovation Award will not only gain
national recognition but also benefit from
media coverage that spotlights their achievements. The company’s story, successes, and innovative contributions will be featured in an
engaging blog on the ICIC website and shared with a broad audience through social media and Insights, a monthly newsletter with more than 7,500 subscribers. The winner will also receive a
comprehensive communications toolkit with dynamic press and social media resources, enabling them to share their remarkable achievement with customers and target audiences effectively.
Timeline
The application deadline is
Friday, March 7. The winner will be notified by
April 2.
The inaugural Intuit Innovation Award winner will be announced and recognized at
ICIC's Innovation Summit in Los Angeles on
April 23, 2025.
CriteriaTo be eligible for the Intuit Innovation Award, a business must:
- Be legally incorporated and independently operated (not a subsidiary or division of another company)
- Have less than 100 employees*
- Have been incorporated prior to January 2024
- Have implemented an innovative solution that has driven positive change in their business or industry and/or demonstrated a commitment to innovation in their business or industry. This could include, but is not limited to, leveraging innovation through sustainability initiatives, the adoption of new technology (e.g. AI tools), enhanced customer experiences, or digital transformation.

Including full-time employees and part-time employees (excluding 1099 contractors)About the applicationThis application takes about 10 minutes to complete. It will ask for information about the company, leadership, revenue/employees, and the innovative solution(s) it has implemented.
The application will ask you to submit the following: supporting materials that showcase the company's innovative solution (e.g. photos, testimonials, social media posts/media, etc.), and the company's
legal entity certification (e.g. business certification form, articles of incorporation/organization, business license/registration, etc.).
The award winner will be notified in advance of the summit. The winner's travel expenses to the summit will be reimbursed up to $1,500.
