Virtual US Department of Labor Summer 2025 Student Volunteer Application Workshop

The U.S. Department of Labor is looking for committed, mission-driven students interested in public service for our Summer 2025 (June -August) Student Volunteer program. In order to prepare students to apply, we are hosting two virtual workshops reviewing our Summer 2025 Student Volunteer Application on January 29, 2025 (1:00 p.m. EST) and February 4, 2025 (1:00 p.m. EST).
The workshops will be taking place virtually via Webex. We will send the link to join to the email address entered prior to the event.
In order to be eligible for the volunteer program students must:

  • Obtain academic credit from your institution OR a third-party stipend of at least $15.00 per hour or higher if the locality you are selected for has a higher minimum wage than $15.00.
  • Be enrolled as a current student or accepted for enrollment on a full or half-time basis, qualifying career/technical educational program, registered Apprenticeship Programs or certain volunteer service programs (such as Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, Job Corps, etc.)
  • Must obtain high school diploma or GED by Spring 2025.
