What Deserves a Splash! Card?
To be considered Splash!-worthy, a team member’s actions should reflect TRDHD’s Vision, Mission, and Values in an exceptional way. Here are some examples:
✅ All One Team (Vision): A staff member notices a colleague struggling to meet a deadline and volunteers to help, ensuring the team succeeds together.
✅ Striving for Excellence (Mission): An employee identifies a process improvement that reduces client wait times and shares it with leadership to enhance service quality.
✅ Educating and Empowering with Every Encounter (Mission): A team member takes extra time to educate a client about available resources, empowering them to make informed health decisions.
✅ Advocates (Values): An employee speaks up for a community member facing barriers to care and works to connect them with necessary support.
✅ Collaborators (Values): A staff member builds strong partnerships with external agencies to enhance TRDHD programs and better serve the community.
✅ Leaders (Values): Someone mentors a new team member, ensuring they feel supported and confident in their role.
What Doesn’t Count as Splash!-Worthy?
❌ Just doing your regular job duties.
❌ Exchanging Splash! cards with a friend as a favor.
❌ Bringing in snacks (though we won’t turn them down! 😆).
❌ Arriving to work on time or meeting standard performance expectations.
❌ Being friendly and courteous to colleagues and clients.
While all these things are important and expected as part of a positive workplace, they do not fall under the Splash! program, which is meant to recognize above-and-beyond contributions that support TRDHD’s mission, vision, and values.
