Arthur Ashe, Jr. Nominations 2025

Diverse: Issues In Higher Education is accepting nominations for the annual Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Awards.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 18, 2025.

All minority student-athlete nominees must meet the following criteria:

Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 grading scale or its equivalent through the Fall 2024 term.
Must have completed one full academic year at the nominating institution.
Must have been enrolled for the 2024-25 academic year.
Must be an active member of an intercollegiate athletic team during the 2024-25 academic year.
Must have a demonstrated record of service to the campus or community.

Form Instructions:
Please, complete all required fields in the form below. For consideration for overall and sport winners, we look at the complete body of work. Please provide details on community service, academic and athletic accolades. All students who meet the standards of being an Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar will receive a certificate and an issue of Diverse magazine. Be advised that all certificates and magazines will be sent TO THE NOMINATOR. Please, provide a complete mailing address.
