IFLA100: Preparing the Ground

Welcome

This survey is designed to gather evidence and inputs to support planning for IFLA’s centenary in 2027. This anniversary represents an important opportunity to achieve a wide variety of different goals, and should be seized in order to advance our wider missions.

We will of course look to mobilise a wide range of resources, but we will also need to make choices about where we focus and how we make the most of IFLA100. In order to do this, we are keen to draw on your experience and your ideas. This is the purpose of this survey.

The results will feed into a short report on our website, as well as ongoing planning for IFLA100. Your responses are anonymous, but we will draw on them to develop an overview report for the website.

We welcome your responses by 9 February 2025.

Lessons from other anniversaries

In this section, think about your own experience of major anniversaries, either within your own institution or association, or in a related field, such as NGOs, cultural institutions or more. We are interested in learning from these in order to do better ourselves. Please use just one example – you will have the opportunity to reference others later.
