Before the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) can accept the vocational education and training (VET) and endorsed program achievement data, the school principal must confirm that the relevant Registered Training Organisation/s (RTO/s) and endorsed program providers have provided written evidence of achievement and the data has been accurately uploaded to Student Information Records System (SIRS).
Forms of evidence
Acceptable forms of evidence include:
• a copy of the statement of attainment, record of results or qualification certificate issued by the RTO/s
• a certificate, award, examination report or academic transcript issued by other providers
• an emailed statement from the RTO/s or program provider that indicates the achievement for students.
To maintain the integrity of the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) and the Western Australian Statement of Student Achievement (WASSA), it is important that the achievement data submitted to the Authority is accurate. Authority officers may carry out data integrity checks on this evidence.
Declaration by the principal
I certify that the achievement data submitted by the school accurately reflects evidence of achievement from the relevant RTO/s and endorsed program providers.
