The MSA Memorial Scholarship Fund has enabled hundreds of museum store professionals to attend the MSA FORWARD Conference & Expo to learn more about their trade and strengthen their skills, thereby enhancing the industry. The scholarship is intended to help eligible museum store personnel attend the Conference & Expo when the resources to do so are not available to them.
MSA FORWARD 2025 will take place in Los Angeles, CA from May 5-9, 2025. In order to be eligible to receive this year’s scholarship, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
• Must be a first-time attendee of the MSA FORWARD Conference & Expo
• Must certify financial need
• Must be an MSA institution member in good standingApplications for the 2025 MSA Memorial Scholarship must be received by Midnight EST on Friday, February 14, 2025.
MSA Staff and Board of Directors determine the total award amount for each year. The MSA Memorial Scholarship Committee reviews applications and chooses the recipients. The committee determines what portion of this award will be given to each recipient – the amount of each award may vary based on financial need, distance traveled by the recipient, and other factors.
All applicants will receive written notification of their selection or non-selection by February 28, 2025.
Scholarship award recipients must attend the full MSA FORWARD 2025 event. If a recipient is unable to attend, the award must be returned. The applicant may reapply at any time to attend a future conference. The award is not transferable.
