GenConnect Program Interest Form

Program Description

The GenConnect program, offered by the Office of Multilingual Learners, is an 8-week intergenerational program that brings multilingual students and their families together in a unique environment that fosters and develops strong family bonds, advocacy, literacy and social emotional support. 

The program consists of:
  • Opportunities to explore family stories, deepen connections between generations, and encourage the use of home languages. 
  • Through shared reading and discussion of books that center migration and universal themes of humanity, families strengthen their bilingual literacy and cultural pride together.
