The Institute for Educational Leadership is thrilled to share updates about our Leaders of Tomorrow (LoT) Program! We recently concluded our third capacity-building training focused on mentoring. This enriching experience provided valuable insights and tools that will inform and strengthen our future work.
We are now excited to announce the launch of our final capacity-building training, which will run from Wednesday, February 19th, to April 9th, 2025. This series will focus on equipping youth-serving professionals to support immigrant and refugee youth in their transitions to adulthood. Sessions will be held weekly on Wednesdays from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM EST.
The training is designed to empower participants with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions needed to effectively guide immigrant and refugee youth as they navigate this critical life stage. By exploring diverse career pathways and learning how to align youths’ strengths with meaningful opportunities, professionals will leave the training better prepared to foster success for these young people during their transition from high school to adulthood.
We invite you to be a part of this impactful journey! To express your interest, please complete this brief survey by January 10th, 2025.
Let’s work together to ensure all youth have the support they need to thrive!
