Opioid Settlement Public Input Survey

Opioid Settlement Public Input

Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) has received approximately $75 million in proceedings from National Prescription Opiate Litigation, Case Number MDL 2804 and is due to receive approximately $153 million in additional settlement funds through 2038.

This amount equates to the state's share of settlement funds which are allocated to DHS to invest in opioid abatement initiatives across the continuum of care.

DHS wants to hear your ideas about how the state of Wisconsin could use future opioid settlement funds. We want to engage and include the voices of those who have been directly and indirectly impacted.

The following survey aims to collect input to identify priorities for the use of Wisconsin state opioid settlement dollars, identify potential barriers, and existing needs/service gaps. Use this survey to share your ideas to inform planning for future opioid settlement funds.

This survey will close on February 28, 2025.
