About Voices that Inspire

Program Overview
Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2025 Voices that Inspire Program.

The Voices that Inspire Program, a partnership between Vital Voices Global Partnership and Procter & Gamble, supports young women who are making a positive impact in Latin America. Through the program, we increase opportunities, leadership capacity, network, and resources for young women; sparking a global movement to create change and transform leadership.

The Voices that Inspire Program is currently accepting applications from young women leaders from Costa Rica, Mexico and Panama for cohort 5.

Benefits
Through participating in the Voices that Inspire Program, participants will:

  • Complete the Vital Voices Leadership Journey, a 7-week virtual course focused on developing the soft skills required for leadership.
  • Receive a certificate of completion.
  • Receive tailored mentorship.
  • Join the Vital Voices global network of more than 20,000 women leaders from around the world.
  • Have the opportunity to apply for a small grant to support their social impact projects.

Eligibility

  • Is 18-25 years old at the time of application and identifies as a woman.

  • Demonstrated commitment to the Vital Voices core principles of leadership: innovative, collaborative, and driven by a clear sense of mission; has strong roots in her community; is committed to connecting across lines that divide.  

  • Is carrying out a social impact project, business, initiative, or other, OR   

  • Has a clear idea for a project, business, initiative or other with an explicit social purpose. 

  • Is proficient in Spanish.

 
Program Commitment 

  • Fully participate in the 7-week program, which includes 2-4 hours per week of live virtual sessions. Participants should have no more than 2 absences.
  • Complete workbook activities in a timely manner. 
  • Participate in mentoring which includes 3-5 virtual or in-person meetings with assigned mentors during the program.
  • Provide requested updates to Vital Voices throughout the program and complete post-program surveys, including up to 1 year after the program. 

 
Technical Requirements and Accessibility 

The Voices that Inspire program will be virtual. To fully participate in the program, participants will need:

  • Access to a computer with a camera or a phone
  • Reliable internet or network connection


Program Dates 

Cohort 5 of the Voices that Inspire program will run from March through May 2025. Sessions will be Mondays or Wednesdays from 2:00pm to 4:00pm Eastern Standard Time. Final schedule will be defined prior to the program orientation. 
 

NOTE: By applying, you are expected to be available and attend all sessions. 
Instructions
Applications should take around 20 minutes to complete and can be submitted in Spanish or English. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.  
 
As soon as you start your application, you must click the “Save and Continue Later” box at the top right corner of the page and enter your email address. You will receive an email with a personal link that you can use to return to your application at any time. If you cannot locate an automated email from noreply@alchemer.com, please check your junk or spam folders. 

Recommendation: Write your responses to the short-answer questions in a separate document and paste them into the application once you are ready to submit. This will prevent any loss of content as the system does not always successfully save unsubmitted applications.  
 
What happens after I apply? 
Early applications are strongly encouraged. Applicants will be selected on a rolling basis.
