In 2021 Melton City Council asked the Caroline Springs community to tell us how you feel about closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras at Lake Caroline. With a majority of the participants supporting the initiative, Council have installed the CCTV cameras for a trial period of three years (ending in 2024). The purpose of the trial is to examine the effectiveness of CCTV cameras in supporting people to feel safer at Lake Caroline reserve.
By completing this survey, you are helping Council understand how residents feel when they visit Lake Caroline after the first year of the trial.
Please note: Your responses to this survey are completely anonymous. Demographic data is captured to better understand who responded from the community of interest. Any contact details supplied for the prize draw are removed from your survey answers before data analysis and are not shared with third parties.
Council is committed to ensuring that survey information remains confidential and is managed in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014. If you have any questions, please contact the Social Planning and Wellbeing team on 9747 7200.
