Thank you for your interest in the American Psychiatric Association (APA)'s Future Leaders in Psychiatry Program (FLIPP). This one-year program, beginning in October, offers current U.S. citizen undergraduates at accredited U.S. academic institutions an introduction to the exciting field of psychiatry. We do this through providing MCAT preparation materials, career development opportunities, educational sessions, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
Our two goals are to decrease barriers of access in applying to medical school for undergraduates interested in affecting change toward underrepresented populations in medicine through a career in psychiatry.
