Introduction

Welcome to the Coupar Angus Democracy questionnaire.

DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 18 FEBRUARY 2025

Coupar Angus is a town with potential. However, before a community can plan sensibly for its future, it must have a deep understanding of the needs and hopes of its citizens.

Therefore this questionnaire asks you how well Coupar Angus supports your social, economic and environmental well-being.

The questionnaire features a unique numerical scoring system, so that if other communities try out the same system, we can compare results and perhaps help each other to raise levels of well-being.

Results are published here, updated every 15 minutes.

N.B. Questions marked with a red asterisk (*) require an answer.

Research Groups

Also, we invite you to apply to join one of 9 research groups, each with a maximum of 7 members. If more than 7 people apply, names will be chosen randomly.

These groups will discuss the questionnaire responses and, if necessary, carry out further research. They will also investigate any opportunities to raise well-being, and identify potential problems.

Lastly, the research groups will put together a town action plan. The community can put this plan into action itself, or with the help of public bodies such as Perth and Kinross Council.

NOTE: Research groups will continue to meet regularly to ensure the plan is implemented. They will also modify the plan in light of new ideas and opportunities, BUT only in the context of further community consultation.
