The 2025 Comprehensive Plan and Development Regulations Update is underway for Whatcom County. A Comprehensive Plan is a long-range (20-year) vision by and for the community. It establishes goals and policies for many things the County does and is closely tied to zoning and other regulations that govern land development throughout the community.
