Registration for 61st Washington Policy Seminar (WPS)

ABOUT WPS REGISTRATION

Please fill out the following questions to complete your registration for the Washington Policy SeminarTM (WPS) taking place Monday-Wednesday, March 17-19, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC – Crystal City. All questions marked with an asterisk are required. This information will be used to create name badges, so please complete them as you'd like to represent yourself at WPS. This form only supports individual registrations. If you are registering a group/team, please register each person individually. 

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Washington Policy SeminarTM (WPS), now in its 61st year, brings together IEL’s networks, Education Policy Fellowship ProgramTM (EPFP) Fellows, and education and community leaders interested in building their capacity in federal education policy and national trends. Please visit iel.org/wps for the conference fee, the latest agenda, FAQs, and general event information.

HOTEL RESERVATION AND ASSOCIATED COSTS:
This registration form will only register you for WPS and does NOT include hotel room reservations. All hotel reservations must be booked separately through this Passkey. We encourage you to book early! Participants must adhere to the individual hotel’s reservation and cancellation policies, and each participant is responsible for all costs associated with hotel reservation(s) made for WPS. Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel, accommodations, and miscellany costs associated with attending WPS.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
All cancellations for WPS registration must be received in writing, by email. Registration payments made via credit card will be refunded to the original credit card on file and will take 30-45 days to process. Registration payments made via check will be refunded via check to the original payee and will take 30-45 days to process.

Cancellations received before 11:59 PM EST, November 30, 2024, will receive a full refund minus a $50 processing fee.
Cancellations received before 11:59 PM EST, January 31, 2025, will receive a 50% refund minus a $50 processing fee.
NO REFUNDS starting 12:00 AM EST, February 1, 2025.
NO REFUNDS for no-shows.
Cancellation requests must be emailed to policy@iel.org.
A NOTE ABOUT PRE-CONFERENCE SESSIONS:
All pre-conference sessions are concurrent; thus, you can only register for one. All pre-conference sessions are $150 each. If the schedule lists a pre-conference session as ‘sold out,’ please select your second choice. If a pre-conference session does not reach a minimum threshold of 15 participants, the session may be canceled, and you will be notified. At that point, you will have the option to move your reservation to another session. If you select to not attend your second choice pre-con session, a full refund for the first choice pre-con session will be issued to you using the credit card on file. Pre-con payments will be refunded to the original credit card on file and will take 30-45 days to process.

Please note, individuals who refer or recommend five verified WPS registrants will get free access to a pre-conference session. Current EPFP Fellows who refer five or more non-Fellow registrants will get free access to a pre-conference session.
