Gear up for National Ag Day in November by inviting an Australian farmer into your classroom in Term 4.
Hosted on Zoom, the Smart Farming Virtual Classroom consists of Life on the Farm (Years F-2) and Future Farming (Years 3-6) sessions providing 30-minutes of free and engaging curriculum-linked education.
Co-hosted by a qualified teacher and Australian farmer, session content is continually refreshed to ensure currency of information contextual to Australian farming. Students will learn about the farming environment, sustainable farming practices and farming technology, along with the chance to participate in quizzes and farmer Q&A segments.
