Eligibility Checklist
Before beginning this application, remember that for many of the available scholarships you must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder/Permanent resident. Please review the individual scholarship criteria to make sure you are eligible. Please note, you must have a GPA of 85 or higher to apply.

In addition, gather the following information:
  • Your parent/guardian name and email
  • A list of your extracurricular activities, with dates
  • A list of any honors/awards, with dates
Applications for all scholarships are due March 14, 2025.
1. Are you currently a Central New York resident?
Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, Otsego, Seneca, or Tompkins Counties *This question is required.
2. In which county (of those listed above) do you reside? *This question is required.
3. Do you have a cumulative average of 85 or higher? *This question is required.
4. Are you a U.S. Citizen (U.S. Citizenship may be required for certain employer-sponsored scholarships due to Department of Defense contract work, but not required by all companies)?  *This question is required.
5. Are you starting a college degree (or transferring to a 4-year institution) in fall 2025? *This question is required.
6. Are you planning to major in any of the following STEM disciplines in college?
Only students intending to study Architecture, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or Engineering (e.g., Electrical or Mechanical) will be considered.   *This question is required.Other - Engineering: Please write in your intended major
