Targeted Call 2024

In County Louth, small-scale capital projects and analysis and development (A&D) projects can play a crucial role in promoting the protection and sustainable use of water resources. These projects can be tailored to local environments, community needs, and specific water challenges in the area. Louth Local Community Development Committee are now seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from aspiring entrepreneurs, business start-ups and existing business owners across a range of sectors, farmers, ethnic minorities, local community groups, women, young people, Chambers of Commerce, and Business Associations for the following targeted call:
  • Theme: Sustainable Development of the Rural Environment & Climate Change Mitigation & Adaptation
  • Local Objective:  Supports to Encourage Protection and Sustainable Use of Water Resources
  • Funding Types: Small Scale Capital / Analysis & Development
  • Total Budget Available: €100,000
  • Capital Grant Aid Available:
    • Community Groups up to a maximum of €40,000 or 75%, whichever is the lesser.
    • Businesses up to a maximum of €40,000 or 50%, whichever is the lesser.
    • The minimum grant aid available for this targeted call is €5,000
  • Analysis & Development Grant Aid Available:
    • Both Community & Business up to a maximum of €30,000 or 90%, whichever is the lesser.
    • The minimum grant aid available for this targeted call is €5,000
  • Opening Date for Expressions of Interest: Wednesday, 23rd October 2024 at 9am.
  • Closing Date for Expressions of Interest: Tuesday, 26th November 2024 at 5pm.
Funding will be allocated on a competitive basis and all projects must be in line with LEADER and The Louth Local Development Strategy. This EOI form may be completed by a potential project promoter as a pre-cursor to an application proper for funding under the CAP Strategic Plan 2023 – 2027 LEADER Programme. Failure to complete this form completely will result in a delay in dealing with your Expression of Interest and any further processing of any subsequent application arising. All fields are mandatory and the form must be completed in full.
