5 scholarships in the amount of $10,000 are being offered by Newmont for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Scholarship Criteria:
Undergraduate Students pursing a degree major in one of the following fields*:
Geology and Geological Engineering
Geophysics
Economics and Business
Environmental Engineering
Metallurgical and Materials Engineering
*Mining Engineering students have already been selected for 24-25 school year
*Preference given to dual majors
Minimum 2.5 GPA
Required documents:
Cover letter describing experience and/or demonstrated interest in mining industry and/or mining exploration
