AFCOM Scholarship FY25

About Advancing Data Center and IT Infrastructure Professionals:

AFCOM's mission is to enable data center management professionals including representatives from data center operations, facilities, IT and real estate to share industry best practices and to be the most comprehensive and effective resource available to the data center community in the Rocky Mountain Region. Events are held quarterly and they focus on the latest issues in the industry.

The intention of this scholarship is to inspire, educate, and develop the next generation of data center professionals.

AFCOM is providing a $1,000 scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Scholarship Guidelines

Students must be enrolled full-time; undergraduate, juniors (or equivalent credit hours)
Eligible majors are Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science ($1,000 per major)
- Additional preference may be given to students with interest in data center and computer facility design, operations, and management
Minimum GPA of 3.0
A resume and cover letter expressing their interest in data center and computer facility operations management.
The award shall be made as a one-year award
