Allegan County Veteran Services
is pleased to continue with our Veteran Emergency Food & Fuel Assistance in 2025
Funds are provided through the CVSF/MVAA Grant

Food gift cards are valid at Meijer stores - Fuel cards are available for Meijer or Speedway stations

Food insecurity and fuel/gasoline support are available to all honorably discharged veterans and surviving spouses regardless of what era you served in, providing you meet the following eligibility requirements:

Applicants must provide a valid copy of DD214 showing ACTIVE DUTY with a discharge that is not dishonorable.
Applicants must meet income guidelines of 200% below poverty level.
Applicants must provide proof of all HOUSEHOLD income (pay stubs or bank statement for direct deposit).
Applicants must list all expenses and be prepared to provide proof upon request.
Applicant must be a resident of Allegan County for a minimum of 60 days.
