ABIM publishes this report twice a year following the spring and fall meetings, respectively, to promote awareness and transparency of governance work in the disciplines of internal medicine.

About the Specialty Board: The Rheumatology Board is one of the Specialty Boards of ABIM Governance, responsible for 
the broad definition of the discipline across certification and Maintenance of Certification (MOC), assuring that the credential speaks to the evolving needs of the discipline. Specialty Boards and Advisory Committees have oversight of the Approval Committees and are responsible for making certification and MOC relevant vehicles in their discipline.
