Job Type: Entry Level - Project based
Basic Function: Quantitative Data Collection - To collect census data by doing interviews door-to-door, transit locations (Malls, taxi stands and other places where people gather) or via the telephone. An enumerator is expected to conduct interviews in accordance with the parameters of the survey. He/She is expected to engage and persuade persons to answer questions in a complete and truthful manner. The interviewer is always expected to probe for responses.
Reports to: Operations Officer
Responsibilities: Collection of accurate data and verification of data collected.
Qualifications:
Persons must possess the following:

Minimum of Four CXC Subjects inclusive of English Language

The ability to work in teams and individually with minimal direction and supervision

The willingness to work throughout the country

Superior inter-personal and communication skills
Knowledge and Skills:

They should have good written and verbal communication skills and should speak politely to the interviewee

They should have ability to answer the questions and clear confusions of the interviewee

Physical stamina is also important as they have to walk visiting one house to another most of the day

Should be familiar with the area or the locality they are working in

They should possess ability to handle pressure and should be patient
