User Research Participant Pool Signup

Thank you for your interest in our games!

Completing this survey will sign you up to the Unknown Worlds User Research Pool. We will select participants from this pool to help provide feedback for our games.


Your information will help us to match you with upcoming studies.


Important notes:
  • By completing the survey, you acknowledge that you would like to be considered as a candidate for our upcoming user research studies. The studies will vary depending on the requirements for each game. There is no guarantee that you will be selected for a study.
     
  • The time to complete a study will vary depending on what we are playtesting, or requesting feedback on. On average, a study should take between 30 minutes to three hours.  
     
  • Some studies may involve 1:1 interviews, group discussions, or require us to record your face/audio/screen.
     
  • If selected to participate in a study we will provide all relevant information as part of the invitation. This information could include: the type of study (i.e. playtest, interview), estimated time commitment, as well as start date/time and end of the study. You can ignore invitations and cancel booked sessions without it affecting your eligibility for future studies. Spaces are limited though, so please only accept if you're serious about attending a study.
     
  • In some cases we may not be able to tell you what game the study is about.
     
  • If selected to participate, you will need to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement),  as any information shared with you during the study is confidential. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your country), we may ask for a parent or legal guardian to sign the NDA on your behalf.
     
  • Most studies will have limited spaces available. We recommend you check your spam and/or promotion filters regularly, and mark emails related to this program as 'safe' to avoid missing our invites or other time-sensitive information.

To sign up for our User Research Participant Pool we require your email address in order to contact you. By signing up, you consent for us to contact you via the email address you provide. All information related to the user research studies, including whether an upcoming study  matches your profile, will be sent by email only.

Please make sure you provide an email address that you check regularly to receive our invites.
Please use a personal email address, not your work email address.
