Land & Carbon Lab and the University of Maryland are developing targeted near real-time alert products (building on OPERA DIST-ALERT) that can be used for applications such as tracking agricultural expansion into natural lands, detecting degradation dynamics like logging, and monitoring generally short-lived vegetation changes like drought and fire.
We’re looking for users who are interested in testing early prototypes on Google Earth Engine and providing feedback. These data are preliminary and still under scientific review. The final version of the data may change. We are sharing these data to garner feedback to improve their development. At this stage, the data are not intended as input for decision-making.
If you would like to participate, please complete the form below and we’ll send a follow-up email with instructions for accessing the data and a link to the feedback survey.
