19th of September: Violence Prevention Community Call
In celebration of the International Day of Peace, we invite you to take part in our special Violence Prevention Community Call on September 19. The International Day of Peace (IDP) is a global observance dedicated to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. This year, the theme is "Creating Cultures of Peace," a call to action for all of us to foster environments where peace can flourish.
During this call, we will highlight the inspiring work of members from the United Religions Initiative (URI) network who are making impactful strides at the intersection of peace education and violence prevention. You will hear from URI members and staff who are transforming their communities and contributing to creating a safer and more peaceful world.
