Thank you for deciding to apply for the MNEA Board! You will be asked to answer and provide the following information:
- Please describe your previous involvement and/or association with MNEA or another affiliate.
- Please describe which MNEA Board position(s) you are interested in and why you are interested in the position(s).
- Please describe any experience you have serving on nonprofit boards, or similar roles, and include the name of the organization and position(s) you held.
- Please describe your evaluation experience, including how many years have you been an evaluator. Please include if you are currently in school studying evaluation.
- One of the purposes of MNEA is to “Promote justice, equity, and anti-racism as essential for excellence in evaluation principle and practice.” How can you support MNEA in this work?
- As a Board Member, you prepare for and attend board and committee meetings, review materials for meetings, plan and attend events, and lead initiatives. This work can take up to 10 hours per month on average. MNEA Board service requires a significant time commitment, as noted in the introductory materials. Please describe your ability to fulfill this commitment throughout your term.
- The Board of Directors meets monthly throughout the year. Outside pandemic times, meetings are typically held at board members’ offices (rotation among those who are able to host) and there is also a dial-in option for those who cannot join in person. At the moment, due to COVID-19, all meetings are virtual. Please indicate if there are any barriers to your participation in virtual monthly meetings and/or, eventually (hopefully), in-person meetings.
- Please upload a CV or resume.
It should take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete the nomination form.
